RAIL LIVE 2018
June 20 - June 21
A partnership between the Rail Alliance and RAIL Magazine (Bauer Media)
Rail Live will be held at Quinton Rail Technology Centre (QRTC) in Warwickshire on the 20 & 21 June 2018 (this will be its 5th year at QRTC) and offers exhibitors the unique opportunity to demonstrate products and services outdoors using real track infrastructure in addition to the ground space allocated to them. With the added benefit of a rail connection from QRTC from the mainline at Honeybourne, rail vehicles can even be brought in and positioned right in the heart of the show.
Rail Live is truly about seeing the “Railway in Action” and this is why it attracts so many visitors from the UK as well as overseas to experience railway innovation at its best. Last year we had over 6000+ visitors through the gates and close to 300 exhibitors demonstrating everything from state-of-the-art welding by Thermit Welding to ballast vacuuming on track by Railcare Sweden, electrification rewiring demonstration by Balfour Beatty, battery engine test train demonstration by Vivarail and even a full-scale track renewal by AmeySersa and the S&C North Alliance. This is an addition to other exhibitors and major features that can be found at the show – including a comprehensive signalling zone and a 1km light rail test track.

“The Rail Alliance team delivered another brilliant event with Rail Live 17. It was great to see rail plant contractors from around the country unite and show off their most bespoke pieces of kit. As one of the warmest days of the year, the content of Rail Live 17 was one heat wave that you didn’t want to miss.” Gregg McEwan, Marketing Manager, QTS Group
